We have a brave and generous business owner at Yew Tree Farm. Ed from Creative Differences very kindly decided to have his head shaved to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Under a bright summer sky, he was expertly shorn by Charlie from Yew Tree Salon here at the shopping village in front of an audience of passers by and outside diners at the Cowshed Eaterie. Ed said it was an odd sensation feeling the breeze on his head! To date he has raised £185.00.
We have had a few visits from some feathered friends this week. To begin with we had a Sparrow fledgling drama when one little fledgling found his way into Beyond the Blue. Mum and Dad sparrow were very vocal about the drama. All turned out ok in the end.
The second feathery visit came from a couple of Swifts who flew into Beyond The Blue (they’ve been popular this week). One managed to find his way out immediately, but the other one needed a bit of help. They are never easy to get out of the buildings, but eventually it got out of one of the skylights.
Our third and probably the cutest visit was into the Farm Shop. We think the video speaks for itself!! Just click on the link.
